Runtastic Heart Rate PRO App Reviews

Every time I open it asks to login and it takes 3-4 clicks to get to the app. So annoying. Deleting.

The nuance from having to tap away three screens at startup is an unnecessary evil for a "paid" app. Persistent sign up messages at startup in uncalled for. And dont get me started on the developer recommending other "Runtastic" apps.

The application works but the never ending "Hey join us" counteracts any positives the app earned. When I pay for an application I only need to be asked once to join your club, post on Facebook or add myself to any other social media. This self promoting is so bad that in the settings options there are only adds for other apps. No settings! Really!

The heart rate monitor constantly fails to measure my heart rate. It is nearly impossible to PROPERLY place your index on the cam and flash. I should not have to labor to obtain a simple statistic.

Ive found that this app offers better readings than the other similar apps. The other apps tend to stop reading if Im moving even just a little bit. This app however gives me very consistent reads. Im very often quite pleasantly surprised by how easily this app can detect my heart rate even if my hands are still a bit shaky from a taxing hiit interval. Five stars! Worth the price!

Great app! Love it! You just need to remember to place your finger over both he light and camera lens.

That makes it great. Ive checked against what the PA gets when I visit the doctor, and its dead on. I wish it could export data so I can integrate it with other stats/reporting.
